Assistant/Associate Professor of Finance

Job Summary:

This position will involve teaching courses in both day and evening classes, primarily in in the areas of Finance and Entrepreneurial Finance. The School of Management is seeking faculty members who, in addition to teaching their classes, participate in the life of the School and its activities. This will include attending faculty and School events on campus, and participating in the community as a representative of Marist College and the School of Management. The School of Management will be accepting applications immediately for the position as an Assistant/Associate Professor for the fall 2020 semester.

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidates should have an earned doctoral degree in finance or related field, or an anticipated completion date during the fall of 2020. Professional experience is also highly desirable.

Essential Functions:

Candidates should be superior undergraduate and graduate teachers. The candidate is expected to advise undergraduate majors and perform services for the college, school and department.

Preferred Qualifications:

Industry experience is desirable—a strong working knowledge of business analytical tools, accounting and financial principles, and ideal candidates will also have college teaching experience.
