Job Summary:

Marist seeks a dynamic, strategic and energetic Director of Marketing who will define and execute all digital marketing strategies and will lead the effort to fundamentally move Marist to a marketing model based on data-driven, personalized digital engagement with ROI results. The Director will lead a small team focusing on building our website and performance marketing, including SEM, SEO, paid Social Media, Display, Programmatic, and Email marketing. The candidate will partner with a cross-functional team to optimize the customer's experience and drive efficiencies. The ideal candidate for this position must have a strategic vision, thrives in a fast-paced environment, works collaboratively as a part of a passionate team, has excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, and has a collaborative and innovative attitude.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; Master’s Degree preferred
  • 10+ years of experience preferably in an agency setting; proven expertise in digital media
  • Extensive background in performance marketing channels and toolsets across SEM/SEO, display, paid social, as well as channel attribution
  • Successful in managing, growing and leading a high-performance team
  • Experience launching and driving large scale paid digital media campaigns
  • Expert knowledge of web-based technologies, SEO, PPC, Analytics, ROI Analysis, digital marketing, email marketing, etc.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Able to work under pressure quickly, effectively and efficiently

 

Essential Functions:

  • Brings a positive and can-do approach to solving large, strategic, and complex problems
  • Oversees digital traffic-building and engagement initiatives including search, retargeting, programmatic display, and paid social media programs
  • Develops ongoing analytics, KPIs and dashboards to consistently model out traffic, engagement, and conversion metrics
  • Creates A/B and multivariate testing roadmap for digital creative assets
  • Meets objectives by using first and third-party data to target defined segments efficiently
  • Defines look-alike segments to test and drive down cost per acquisition continually
  • Via ongoing testing, understands the specific models that drive web traffic and understand interdependencies like seasonality, weather, or specific promotional programs
  • Collaborates with the creative team to develop creative digital assets to deploy across all digital platforms
  • Develops integrated direct marketing and CRM strategies including email and direct mail
  • Manages multiple agencies and partners to create integrated digital marketing plans
  • All other duties as assigned
