Job Summary:

Marist College invites applications for the part-time position of Multimedia Coordinator in the Department of Athletics. The Multimedia Coordinator will work under the direction of the Associate Athletic Director, External Affairs, in preparing video packages for the Athletics Department’s website and LED video boards.  This position is responsible for generating social media content and assisting the administrative staff with special projects. There are currently two openings available for this position.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in communications or related field. Experience with all forms of digital media including website, social media, video and mobile.  Experience with Adobe Indesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, StatCrew, and Microsoft Word.     

Essential Functions:

  • Oversee scheduling, set-up and execution of video and audio streaming for all athletic teams and events
  • Produce, shoot and edit video content (interviews, highlight packages, commercials, etc.) for the Athletics website, social media and the video boards in the McCann Arena
  • Oversee all aspects of video board presentation including fan engagement, sponsor fulfillment, statistics, and special presentations
  • Serve as liaison to the conference office for video streaming and highlights
  • Assist with game day video operations, including directing in-house video board production and multi-camera video streams

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with producing, shooting and editing video and audio streaming is preferred. Strong writing and digital media skills; ability to communicate effectively with coaches, media and staff; experience with Division I sports information departments.
