Job Summary:

The School of Science at Marist College invites applications for a part-time position as an Adjunct Instructor in the Department of Biology, beginning August 29, 2022. Minimum qualifications include an M.A. or M.S. in Biology or closely related field, prior college level teaching experience, strong interest in undergraduate education and a commitment to excellence in teaching. The hired instructor will teach one section of Microbiology lecture (M/W 5:00-6:15 pm) and the accompanying section of lab (W 6:30-9:15 pm). The class will have a maximum of 16 students, with the same students in both lecture and lab. The successful candidate will join a Department characterized by a strong sense of community in which students are the central focus and faculty are both accessible and approachable.
