Assistant Professor of Environmental Science Poughkeepsie, NY
The Department of Environmental Science and Policy invites applications for a tenure-track position as an Assistant Professor of Environmental Science to begin in August 2020. We are seeking an individual who will complement existing strengths in earth and life sciences within the department. The ideal candidate will have expertise in the study and conservation of fish or wildlife, and preferably utilize the Hudson River as a teaching and research system. Specialties of interest include, but are not limited to, conservation ecology/biology, habitat restoration, landscape/watershed ecology, and coupled natural-human systems interactions. An interdisciplinary approach that takes advantage of diverse collaborators at Marist and throughout the region is encouraged.
Assistant Baseball Coach Poughkeepsie, NY
The Athletics Department at Marist College invites applications for the part-time position of Assistant Baseball Coach. Marist College is an NCAA Division I program and member of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC). Part-time assistant coach position will participate in the preparation, coordination, practice & game plan preparation, and execution of practice plans during the academic year. The position is responsible for the identification, research of, and communication with prospective student athletes during the course of the calendar year. The assistant coach will also assist in the academic, personal, and career mentoring of student-athletes. There are currently two openings for this position.

The successful candidate will join a highly collaborative team that has excellent PANCE pass rates. The Principal Faculty will collaborate with the program director, PA faculty, and staff to support the program’s mission and ensure compliance with ARC-PA accreditation standards. This is a full-time, 12-month position that will report to the Program Director and will work closely with students and program faculty and staff. The program is dedicated to allotting time and resources for the professional development of faculty and staff. Any outside work, other than the one clinical day per week provided by the program, will be subject to the approval by the Dean. Salary and rank for the position is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
