Marist College Office of Counseling Services is seeking a full-time clinical counselor possessing strong generalist skills and commitment to social justice and mental wellness to join our team. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of intersectionality and how it impacts the daily lives of students including but not limited to BIPOC, international, first-generation, students with disabilities, and LGBTQ+. This 9-month position involves provision of a range of services to a diverse student population, including intakes; individual counseling; group counseling; consultations; crisis intervention; on-call rotation; and innovative outreach programming. This class has one lecture section that meets on Thursday evenings (6:30-9:00 PM) and has two separate lab sections which meet once per week for 165 minutes (Mondays 3:30-6:15 PM and 6:30-9:15 PM). Although it is desirable to have a single person teach the one lecture and both labs, multiple instructors can be employed to cover the lecture and two lab sections.
