The Marist University Biology Department is looking for qualified Part-Time Faculty to teach undergraduate courses in Biology for the 2026-2027 Academic Year. We are looking for faculty who can teach the following courses: • Human Anatomy & Physiology Lab. Two options are available: Thursday 9:30am-12:15pm; and either Tuesday or Wednesday 6:30-9:15pm. • Topics in Biology (non-majors, flexible topic). Course meets Monday / Wednesday from 5-6:15pm. • Life on Earth (non-majors, evolutionary focus). Course meets Monday / Wednesday from 5-6:15pm. The Database Administrator's primary responsibility is to work in support of several Oracle database implementations including installation, configuration, performance tuning, as well as support interface and integration configuration of third-party products. PHTH 607N - Clinical Neuroscience 4 Credits This course serves as an introduction to normal and pathological development and function of the nervous system throughout the lifespan. It serves to familiarize the student with neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, basic neuroscience and evidence-based practice literature. Emphasis is placed on the application of neuroscience in regards to sensation, movement, motor learning, perception and cognition as typically seen in physical therapy practice. Nervous system components including the spinal cord, brainstem, cerebrum and the auditory, visual and vestibular systems are reviewed. In lab activities, an introduction to the neurological assessment is integrated with clinical cases to provide practical, patient-oriented application of the course material.
