Assistant Volleyball Coach Poughkeepsie, NY
The Athletics Department at Marist College invites applications for a part-time, 12-month position as Assistant Volleyball Coach. This position will report to the Head Volleyball Coach. Marist College is an NCAA Division I program and member of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC). The part-time assistant volleyball coach will participate in the preparation, coordination, and execution of practice plans & game plans. This position assists with travel arrangements and scheduling of officials; is responsible for assisting with recruitment of qualified student-athletes who can compete in a highly selective academic environment. The assistant volleyball coach assists in the academic, personal, and career mentoring of student-athletes; and assists the head volleyball coach, as assigned, in all facets of the volleyball program.
Adjunct Instructor of Biology Poughkeepsie, NY
The School of Science invites applications for the position of Adjunct Instructor of Biology. The Department of Biology is searching for several instructors to teach courses designed for science majors: General Biology I, Human Anatomy and Physiology I, and Plant Biology. Each of these classes requires instructors for lecture sections (two 75-minute meetings per week) and lab sections (one 165-minute meeting per week). In addition, the department is searching for instructors for courses designed for non-science majors such as Topics in Biology and Sex, Evolution & Behavior (evolution of social behavior); each course meets for two 75-minute lectures per week. Minimum qualifications include a Ph.D. in Biology or closely related field and a strong interest in undergraduate education. Although prior teaching experience is desirable, the potential to develop superior teaching skills and continually develop as a teacher are essential. Postdoctoral experience is preferred. The successful candidate will teach the freshman biology class for science majors that emphasizes the foundations of cellular and molecular biology, and the upper-level class in Genetics. In addition, the candidate will also teach either an upper-level course with an associated laboratory component in their area of expertise or the senior capping class. Teaching responsibilities include 12 contact hours per week. Executive Director of Enrollment Services & Systems Poughkeepsie, NY
Marist College seeks a technology-focused, strategic, and data-driven Executive Director of Enrollment Services & Systems. The Executive Director will join a dynamic and innovative team in enrollment management and play a critical leadership role in four mission-critical areas: 1. Leverage technology to improve processes and create efficiency. 2.
