Depending on the successful applicant’s background and qualifications, this can be either a tenure-track position or a term (professional lecturer) position in operations management.
We are seeking a faculty member able to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in operations, supply chain, analytics and related subjects. Tenure-track faculty are expected to maintain a robust program of disciplinary research resulting in peer-reviewed publications. Term faculty are not required to conduct research, but are expected to maintain close ties to their profession. All faculty also participate in the life of the School and its activities, including involvement in committee work, student advising and support, and community outreach activities. The School of Management will be accepting applications immediately for the position as an Assistant Professor (or Professional Lecturer) for the Fall 2025 semester.
We welcome candidates who will place a strong emphasis on quality teaching in a small classroom setting. Our typical class size is fewer than 25 students. The expected course load for our tenure-track faculty is 21 credits, typically distributed as a 3:4 course load. Term faculty teach 24 credits per year (4:4 load).
