Marist College invites applications for the position of Part-Time Adjunct Instructor for the 2023-2024 Academic Year in our online/asynchronous Master’s in Marketing Communication Program. This position is responsible for teaching graduate-level courses in marketing communication, advertising, public relations, health communication, digital marketing, etc.
All courses will be taught online and strong technology skills are necessary. Instructors should have familiarity with online learning management systems or a willingness to learn skills for effective online instruction.
Applicants must be willing and comfortable teaching students of all ages, of different work experience, and in different geographic areas.
Visiting Lecturer of Advertising

The School of Communication and the Arts at Marist College invites applications for a one-semester visiting position, beginning January 2024, to teach undergraduate courses in the advertising concentration of our Communication major. This appointment will be at the rank of Visiting Lecturer. The department seeks a candidate with the ability to teach Research and Consumer Insights, Media Strategy, Introduction to Strategic Advertising, Branding, or Strategic Advertising Campaign Development.
The successful candidate will join a Communication Department and a school characterized by a strong sense of collaboration and expansive community in which students are the central focus and faculty are both accessible and approachable. The Department offers a major with five concentrations (Communication Studies, Advertising, Journalism, Public Relations, and Sports Communication).
Director of the Center for Sports Communication

The School of Communication and the Arts at Marist College invites applications for the position of Director of the Center for Sports Communication, a hub of research, curricular, and service activity in the field. This is a 12-month position that will combine leadership of the Center with an academic appointment.
The Center’s next director will help prepare Marist’s sports communication students for successful careers in the field, conduct highly-relevant research on the sports media industry and further build the Center’s national brand in line with the college’s new strategic plan, Marist 100.
