Job Summary:

The Marist College Upward Bound Program is seeking applicants for the summer program, June 1- June 26 hours are part-time and flexible. June 28 - August 7, 2020, full-time, generally Sunday - Thursday.

All of the following positions are contingent upon funding.

Minimum Qualifications:

Full-time registered or licensed practical nurse with First Aid and CPR certification for Emergency Responders required.

Essential Functions:

Conduct initial health form screening, monitor and provide daily health care to comply with NYS Children's Camp requirements.

Coordinate with parents and medical personnel to secure documentation and manage care of program assigned students. Handle emergencies, injuries, dispense medications, maintain camp log and prepare NYS reports when necessary.

The Marist Upward Bound Program was founded in 1966. It is a federally funded college preparatory program designed to generate in participants the skills and motivation necessary to persist in completing their secondary education and enter and complete a program of post secondary education.
