The Office of Housing and Residential Life at Marist College invites applications for the position of Resident Director. This position is responsible for the daily administration and operation of an undergraduate residence hall housing approximately 500 students. This is an 11-month, full-time, live-in position that requires participation in an after-hours on-call duty rotation.
Assistant Professor of Psychology Poughkeepsie, NY
The psychology department in the School of Social and Behavioral Sciences at Marist College invites applications for a tenure track position of Assistant Professor of Psychology to begin the fall of 2023. The successful candidate will specialize in School Psychology and teach in the undergraduate psychology major and the NASP approved MA School Psychology program, with an emphasis on graduate instruction. Graduate courses are held in the evenings. We seek those with expertise related to school-based consultation and academic/behavioral assessment and intervention. Student Services Coordinator Florence, Italy
The Student Services Coordinator (SSC) is an essential member of the Marist Italy team with logistical and student support functions. The SSC oversees various systems of support for students, including mental and physical wellbeing, cultural adjustment, and community-building. The SSC coordinates a team of student workers in the Marist Italy offices and oversees student programming and activities. The SSC coordinates a mentor program for bachelor’s degree students and works on community outreach and engagement. The SSC is also responsible for Marist Italy’s social media accounts and participates in emergency phone and on-call rotation. Adjunct Instructor, Biology Poughkeepsie, NY
The Department of Biology within the School of Science invite applications for the position of Adjunct Instructor of Biology for the spring 2023 semester. The Department is specifically searching for qualified individuals to teach General Biology II, a course that covers the scientific method, transmission genetics, basic evolutionary theory, and ecological relationships. This class requires instructors to teach in-person one lecture section (two 75-minute meetings per week) and one associated lab section (one 165-minute meeting per week). In addition, the department is searching for instructors for a course designed for non-science majors, Topics in Biology, which meets in-person for two 75-minute lectures per week.
