The School of Social & Behavioral Sciences invites applications for Part-Time Faculty positions in the newly developed Master of Social Work (MSW) fully online asynchronous program. The program launches in Summer 2025 for the 2025-2026 academic year. Instructors are required for the following Summer 2025 session starting on Monday June 9 and running for 8 weeks. Specific courses that require instructors are: • SWMP502: Human Behavior in The Social Environment • SWMP601: Assessment & Diagnosis for Trauma Informed Practice Qualified candidates may have opportunities to teach multiple or additional courses as the program grows and develops. The Marist College Teacher Education Department seeks candidates for the Program Director and Professional Lecturer of Teacher Education to begin in the fall 2025. This position provides coordination for the advanced certification Master of Science in Education (MSED) in Contemporary Curriculum & Instruction Program. This program is offered in two delivery models: as part of our in-house 5-year accelerated program, or in an online asynchronous 16-month program. This is a full-time position with a 24-credit teaching load; 12 credit release for administrative responsibilities. The Social Work & Sociology department in the School of Social and Behavioral Sciences invites applicants for the position of Program Director for the BS in Social Work & Sociology. This is a full-time faculty position that may be tenure track or term. We will consider ranks including Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professional Lecturer. The BSW Program Director is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Social Work & Sociology department. They create all class schedules, hire part time faculty, oversee the BSW budget, work in close collaboration with the BSW Coordinator of Field Education, run all department meetings, teach courses, and are primarily responsible for ensuring compliance with our CSWE accreditor. Assistant Professor of Operations Management OR Professional Lecturer of Operations Management Poughkeepsie, NY Open Until Filled
Depending on the successful applicant’s background and qualifications, this can be either a tenure-track position or a term (professional lecturer) position in operations management. We are seeking a faculty member able to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in operations, supply chain, analytics and related subjects. Tenure-track faculty are expected to maintain a robust program of disciplinary research resulting in peer-reviewed publications. Term faculty are not required to conduct research, but are expected to maintain close ties to their profession. All faculty also participate in the life of the School and its activities, including involvement in committee work, student advising and support, and community outreach activities.
