Job Summary:

Marist College welcomes applicants for an exciting opportunity as a Cybersecurity Fellow. This position will be a temporary position for one year within the Marist IT team. The Cybersecurity Fellow will report directly to the Manager, of Cybersecurity on the Cybersecurity Team. The Fellow will gain real-world experience in day-to-day cybersecurity operations and GRC by participating in operational support, small and mid-sized projects, contributing to cross-functional IT projects, collaborating with disparate IT functions, and providing customer service to internal and external clients. This is a one-year temporary position designed to give recent Cybersecurity graduates an opportunity to learn essential job skills that will help launch their Cybersecurity careers. Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or a related field
• Experience in cybersecurity or a related field

Essential Functions:

In this position, you will perform the following functions:

• Support the day-to-day activities of the Cybersecurity Operations Analyst
• Support the day-to-day activities of the Cybersecurity GRC Analyst
• Assist in cybersecurity train and security awareness campaigns across staff, faculty, students, and partners of the college
• Assist in the vulnerability management program, patching and hardening in-house systems and platforms
• Assist in managing the SIEM and native log collection tools for cyber forensics and analysis
• Be an active member of the security committee, develop and enforce security best practices
• Other duties as assigned
