The Athletics Department at Marist College invites applications for a full-time, 12-month position as a Non-Recruiting Assistant Coach for Men’s Basketball. The responsibilities for this position include coordinating travel, summer camps, equipment, and supervision of the team's managers. Assist men’s basketball head coach with day-to-day administrative needs, coordinate team travel and logistics, assist with scheduling of practices and games, manage equipment, organize summer camps, coordinate use of facilities, oversee student managers, and provide technical or tactical instruction to student-athletes. Other duties as assigned by head coach and administrative staff.
Head Football Athletic Trainer Poughkeepsie, NY
The Athletics Department at Marist College invites applications for a full-time, 12-month position as the Head Football Athletic Trainer. Athletic Trainers (ATs) are highly qualified, multi-skilled health care professionals who collaborate with physicians to provide preventative services, emergency care, clinical diagnosis, therapeutic intervention, and rehabilitation of injuries and medical conditions. Athletic trainers work under the direction of a physician, as prescribed by national/state licensure statutes. This position is responsible for the care and coverage of FCS Division 1 football team with 110 student-athletes and a Division 1 Water Polo team with 20 student-athletes. Both teams are considered high risk and require an advanced level of emergency care skills, as well as administrative workload.
