Environmental Health and Safety Manager Poughkeepsie, NY
Under the direction of the Director of Safety and Security, the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager is primarily responsible for program development, implementation, and management in the following areas: occupational safety, industrial hygiene, laboratory safety, chemical hygiene, environmental compliance; hazardous waste management, and emergency management. The EHS Manager will serve as a subject matter expert on environmental health and safety matters and have a strong understanding of local, state, federal, and international regulatory requirements. Assistant Professor of African American Literature Poughkeepsie, NY
The English Department at Marist College invites applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor in African American literature and American ethnic literature to begin in August 2025. A secondary specialization in African Diaspora literature or Latino/a literature is welcome. Depending on teaching and research interests, candidates will be able to contribute to one of our interdisciplinary programs such as Africana Studies, American Studies, and Latin American, Latinx, and Caribbean Studies.
