Job Summary:

Marist College welcomes applicants for an exciting opportunity as a Manager of Cybersecurity. This position will be full-time within the Marist IT team. The Manager of Cybersecurity will report directly to the Director of Infrastructure and Cybersecurity. The selected candidate will be a key member of the Cybersecurity Team, responsible for the day-to-day operations of the cybersecurity team. The manager will provide leadership and mentorship to a diverse team of analysts, fellows, and student workers. The selected candidate will assist in maintaining the cybersecurity policies and procedures. The manager will lead the cybersecurity incident response program and assist in the security architecture of the Marist technology platforms. Minimum Qualifications:

Three to five years of experience in cybersecurity or a related field.

Essential Functions:

• Manage and lead a team of Cyber Operations and Cyber GRC professionals
• Build on the existing Governance, Risk and Compliance programs to improve the maturity of the cyber program
• Maintain and grow the security awareness program, enforcing strong cybersecurity practices across staff, faculty, students, and partners of the college
• Manage and improve existing cyber operations. Identify additional data sources into enterprise SIEM and expand monitoring, alerting and response capabilities
• Be an active member of the security committee, develop and enforce security best practices

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Cybersecurity or a related field
• Five to eight years of experience in cybersecurity or a related field
