Marist University invites applications for the position of Part-Time Faculty, Economics for the 2026-2027 Academic Year. This position is responsible for teaching undergraduate-level Economics courses: Principles of Microeconomics and Principles of Macroeconomics. Topics in microeconomics include demand and supply analysis, market failures and government intervention, consumer decision making, supply decisions by firms, industry structure, and the role of ethics in consumer and producer economics decisions. Topics in macroeconomics include economic growth, business cycles, unemployment, inflation, macroeconomic models, fiscal policy, the Federal Reserve System, banking, monetary policy, and the role of ethics in macroeconomics.

PHTH 607N - Clinical Neuroscience 4 Credits This course serves as an introduction to normal and pathological development and function of the nervous system throughout the lifespan. It serves to familiarize the student with neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, basic neuroscience and evidence-based practice literature. Emphasis is placed on the application of neuroscience in regards to sensation, movement, motor learning, perception and cognition as typically seen in physical therapy practice. Nervous system components including the spinal cord, brainstem, cerebrum and the auditory, visual and vestibular systems are reviewed. In lab activities, an introduction to the neurological assessment is integrated with clinical cases to provide practical, patient-oriented application of the course material.
