The Athletics Department at Marist College invites applications for a part-time, 12-month position as a Football Assistant Coach - Cornerbacks. Reporting to the Dean of the School of Science, the Pre-Health Program Coordinator leads the execution of the Pre-Health Program that addresses the needs and promotes the academic success of pre-medical and pre-health students at Marist. The Pre-Health Program Coordinator is part of a team that develops, coordinates, implements, and assesses a variety of activities designed to assist pre-medical and pre-health undergraduate students in their transition to College life and throughout their time at Marist. The Pre-Health Program Coordinator helps students find appropriate department/faculty advising and connects students to pre-medical and pre-health resources. The Pre-Health Program Coordinator works with the pre-health committee to develop and facilitate workshops and programming for the Pre-Health Program.
Academic Advisor - School of Communication & the Arts Poughkeepsie, NY
Part of a professional team of advisors housed in the School of Communication and the Arts, this position works predominantly with first year-students to set them up for success in their four years at Marist. The Academic Advisor meets regularly with students to develop the semester scehdules and four-year course plans to ensure that pathways are chosen by the end of the first year, and academic and proper degree requirements are met.
